Starikov<\/p>\n<p>Federal State Unitary Enterprise &#8220;Russian Federal Nuclear Center \u2014 All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics&#8221;, Sarov, Nizhny Novgorod region<\/p>\n<p>Abstract: We report the results of experiments on a laboratory model of an optically pumped inert-gas mixture laser. Under conditions of transverse pumping, the output power of the metastable Ar* laser is 1 W.
