Shmatov<\/p>\n<p>Ioffe Institute, St. Petersburg<\/p>\n<p>Abstract: We present estimates according to which the energies of X-ray laser pulses with wavelengths of 35.6 and 30.56 \u00c5, obtained by pumping single-pass lasers on 4d\u20134p transitions of nickel-like Au and Bi ions by sixteen beams of the National Ignition Facility (NIF) with a doubled radiation frequency, are \u223c75 mJ and of the order of 0.01 \u20131 mJ, respectively. It is assumed that the contribution of one NIF beam to the pump energy of the X-ray laser is 2.36 kJ, and the duration of irradiation of each target area used to form its active medium is 500 ps.
